Socially Engaged Art Projects – Textile Art as a Collaborative Process

My socially engaged art projects are process-oriented and participatory. I work collaboratively with people, encouraging them to explore their creativity and develop their own forms of artistic expression. The focus lies less on the final artwork than on the shared process itself— shaped by exchange, participation, and the sharing of time, knowledge, and experience.

Textiles are the central material of my practice. As cultural carriers of memory, stories, and social relationships, they connect individual experiences with collective practices. In many cultures, textile techniques are closely linked to communal making and the transmission of knowledge. I draw on these inherent qualities in workshops and collective actions that create spaces for dialogue, shared learning, and collaborative creation.
