WORKSHOP TALKS
The idea comes while speaking
After Kleist
On the gradual formation of thoughts while speaking
The gradual emergence of thoughts as we speak and the gradual emergence of things as we create is a perfect combination—and at the same time an invitation to connect with one another, to discuss matters, and to grasp them with our minds and hands. It’s also about sharing experiences and time.

What if we understand making not only as the production of something, but as a process of discovery? What if we experience talking not only as a means of exchange, but as a tool for collective thinking? The Studiospace workshop talks operate at this intersection. They are a blend of artist talk/lecture, dialogue, and an invitation to participate.
With shifting focal points, artistic ideas and craft-based methods are presented, which can be discussed and explored here. Connections are drawn to strategies of artistic creation, contemporary positions in art, art history, and society. It is an outcome-open format.
The goal of the workshop talks is to facilitate access to various art forms and artistic perspectives in a communicative and playful way, and to invite participants to join in as equals. They are deliberately not focused on specific outcomes or messages, but rather serve as an invitation to participate.
Please note: The workshop talks are an experimental introduction to various topics—and are not workshops in the strict sense.
