Studiospace presented so far sixteen dialogical short-term exhibitions from 2016 to 2023.

Each exhibition featured two artistic positions. Like compartments, these "foreign" works encountered each other for a limited time, engaging in dialogue, observing each other approvingly or rejecting one another. The juxtapositions were only visible on one evening each.

The range of artistic practices included watercolor, collage, drawing, film, print, photography, installation, painting, textile, video, and performance. An interdisciplinary aspect and the diverse backgrounds of the artists played a central role in the exhibition series. For the artistic positions not previously shown in duo shows, new perspectives on the respective works emerged, visitors' different interests mixed, and new perspectives and impressions regarding the exhibition space unfolded.

Theorists were invited to write texts about the exhibition evenings to provide a complementary approach to the artistic positions. The exhibitions were documented photographically and archived on the website.

The project STUDIOSPACE Lange Strasse 31 with the exhibition series was made possible through the kind support of the Kulturamt Frankfurt am Main, as well as the commitment and enthusiasm of the invited artists.
